This “Mum Effect” (— a term coined by psychologists Sidney Rosen and Abraham Tesser in the early 1970s — )happens / because people want to avoid becoming the target (of others’ negative emotions).

1970년대 초기에 심리학자 Sidney Rosen과 Abraham Tesser에 의해 만들어진 용어 Mum Effect는 사람들이 다른 사람의 부정적인 감정의 타깃이 되는 것을 피하기를 원하기 때문에 발생한다.
